On the 18th of May 42,000 sport and healthy living lovers from 42 regions of Russia participated in the Green Marathon. A festive event in support of the Olympic movement and Sochi 2014 Environmental Protection Program attracted more than 76,000 people. It became an international event and crossed the Bosphorus: the marathon and tree planting took place even in Istanbul. No one felt bored thanks to the sporting events, fun games for the kids and parents, music and dancing. Every participant or guest will long remember this day filled with the joy of victory, strong support from the public and positive emotions.
