The first band to be listened by the audience on the show became the Vladivostok indie collective Mari!Mari!, known to many guests of the festival. The band’s frontman Ilya Kanukhin vividly chatted with audience and it responded back. They were followed by the band Therr Maitz, which galvanized the crowd not only by their performance, but by ironic jokes of the lead singer Anton Belyayev as well. Then the Spanish team Delorean stepped in and performed their hits and new songs in Russia for the first time. The team showed everyone gathered on the square the real hot Spanish music.

Following the performance of young artists the festival’s guests were offered the performance of the popular band TOKiO which is known not only in Russia, but far beyond. Each song performed by Yaroslav Maly was met by the public with a particular warmth and the words of well-known compositions were heard for hundreds of meters from the concert site.

All those gathered at the concert had a unique opportunity to make it into the history of the Olympic movement and take part in the recording of the Fans’ Anthem of the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This is a unique tune, since it was created in collaboration with the guests of the last years’ RED ROCKS music tour - music fans, sports fans and world-renowned artists. The Fans’ Anthem of the Olympic Games Sochi 2014 was produced and recorded by musicians from the TOKiO band led by Yaroslav Maly.

The audience not only could listen the concert, but also write down the wishes to Russia’s Olympic team on big letters which made up the Red Rocks project’s title.
